The Second Transnational Project Meeting of the "Developing Farmers’ Digital Skills" project was held on 16-17 July 2019 in Trikala, Greece.

This project is supported by the Presidency of the EU Education and Youth Programs Center - Turkish National Agency within the scope of ERASMUS+ Key Action 2 - 2018 Adult Education Strategic Partnerships Program.

The main purpose of the project is to improve the digital skills of rural farmers / producers, to become more active and thus to increase their productivity in their social and business life; Their aim is to improve the skills and competencies of technical staff and trainers; to develop an innovative training module in the digital field; increasing productivity by increasing the digital skills of farmers; to enable farmers to use internet tools and smart phone applications effectively in their social and business life.

A total of 16 participants from 9 partner institutions / organizations (Aydın Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry (Project Coordinator), Aydın Governorship (EU and Foreign Relations Office), Aydın Adnan Menderes University (Faculty of Education), Söke Agricultural Production Enterprise, Directorate of Agricultural Extension and In-Service Training Center, Karpuzlu Chamber of Agriculture, Developmental Center of Thessaly (Greece), Euroform RFS (Italy), Inercia Digital SL (Spain) and Institut Pro Trénink Pohostinnosti (Czech Republic)) participated on the first day of the meeting where the activities implemented in the project, progress reports, Turkey's National Agency experts’ visit the site control issues in information sharing was done. In the training module, plans were made for the requirements.  The current situation reports of the partner countries, the digital needs analysis of the farmers - the survey results were evaluated. The preparation of the training module and materials, the creation and publication of open training materials were discussed.

On the second day with 16 participants, the training of the trainers, the project implementation rules, evaluation plan, dissemination plan, the project website and the templates and contents of dissemination tools such as press bulletins / brochures were discussed and the meeting was ended with the distribution of the distribution of tasks, evaluations and certificates.
