Aydın Adnan Menderes University was founded in 1992 in accordance with Law No 3837 dated 03.07.1992, Today, Aydın Adnan Menderes University continues its academic life with 78 academic units including 20 Faculties, 3 Institutes, 1 School, 1 State Conservatory, 19 Vocational Schools and 34 Research and Application Centers.
Our mission is to be a sustainable and beneficial university for the society which conducts research that will contribute to science and development in basic and applied sciences, and to train competent graduates who are competitive at national or international level, innovative, with high intelligence and technology knowledge, respectful to environment, society and ethical values.

Aydın Adnan Menderes University accepts Aydın borders as its campus. Since its foundation, the university has maintained a model of education intertwined with the public with its research and projects in every field which is needed for Aydın's development. We are scattered to all areas of Aydın Province with our Schools residing Central Campus, Nazilli, İsabeyli, Söke, Köşk, Çine, Kuşadası, Davutlar, Didim, Karacasu, Sultanhisar, Koçarlı, Kuyucak, Bozdoğan, Yenipazar, Atça, Buharkent, Germencik. 
University Facilities
Food Services: The Central Cafeteria, which is located in our Central Campus, has a capacity of 1,200 people and has an area of 4500 square meters.
Health Care: Our staff and students have treatment opportunities in The Application and Research Hospital of our University.

Sports Facilities and Activities: Semi-Olympic indoor swimming pool has been operating since 2013. Besides, there is an indoor sports hall with a capacity of 2.000 spectators in our central campus, as well as outdoor sports facilities on other campuses and units. The stadium with a stand for 3000 people is in use on a 9.000 m2 area in our central campus. The Synthetic Athletics Track, football field, tennis courts, and sports centers, all of which allow our students to do sports in a wide area, has been completed and started to be used in 2016.

Erasmus Program and International Students
Erasmus Program is one of the leading international education opportunities for students and the academic staff of Aydın Adnan Menderes University. We have mobility agreements with 158 universities from 22 European countries. Apart from the Erasmus program, we have 711 international students from 71 countries and various scholarships, housing, and employment opportunities are provided to our students.

Farabi Institutional Coordinators

The number of universities that our University has established a protocol is 90 within the scope of the Farabi Exchange Program in the 2018-2019 academic year. 70 students benefit from these agreements.

Mevlana Institutional Coordinators

We have ongoing protocols with 13 universities within the scope of the Mevlana Exchange Program in the 2018-2019 academic year. Within the scope of the program, 2 project-based activities are carried out and 10 beneficiaries benefit from the program.
